A thought occurred to me this morning.

In my (admittedly short) corporate working life, I often got teamed up with people nobody else wanted to work with. To me, they were interesting people, who just needed a bit of getting to know, and as teams we worked well, achieving our goals creatively.

I’ve always assumed these assignments were because of my extraordinary interpersonal skills that were able to bring out the best in people.

But maybe everyone just thought I was weird too.
