Today, I am off out to explore Kidbrooke, a new private housing development that replaced the Ferrier Estate, a social housing development built between 1968 and 1972, on the site of a former RAF stores base.

We’ll be sure to have a look at Kidbrooke School if it’s still standing. It was the first purpose-built comprehensive school in Britain.
