Three books about the strategic use of process in business

While I wait for my consignment of management books by Mary Parker Follett, I’ve stumbled across another 3 I’d like to read, via Commoncog and Doug Rabow.

First: “7 Powers” by Hamilton Helmer.

Process is the last and most rarely used of the powers that can build a strategic moat around your business.

Second: “Competing Against Time : How Time-based Competition is Reshaping Global Markets” by George Stalk Jr.

It’s out of print, but you’ll get the gist from the Goodreads reviews.

Last, but by no means least: “The Principles Of Product Development Flow” by Donald Reinertsen

I found my copy on ebay, or you can borrow it from the Internet Archive.

None of these books are new, but they are new to me, and I suspect, in my nerdy way, that they will help crystallise some of my thinking around the next phase of my software development.
