“Why can’t people just do things the way I want them done?” is a cry of frustration.
Not at the inability of other people to do the things that need to be done. At their inability to do things the “right way“.
The “right way” doesn’t mean “my way”, or that there is an “only way“.
It means “the way it needs to be done to make our customers feel the same is if it was me doing it. Or better.”
This means the problem is not one of delegation, but communication.
And that’s a much easier problem to solve.
